Your tasks:

  • Assembly and Inspection: Perform assembly, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
  • Stand During Shift: Required to stand while working during the shift, indicating an active and hands-on role.

  • Communication: Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, follow assembly instructions, and communicate effectively with management and co-workers.
  • Mathematical Skills: Apply basic mathematical concepts such as measurement and dimensioning in both metric and English systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Define problems, collect data, and establish facts to draw valid conclusions, showcasing reasoning ability.

Your Profile:

  • Familiarity with Assembly Equipment: Knowledge and familiarity with the use and care of assembly equipment and hand tools.
  • Reading and Interpretation Skills: Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with management and co-workers.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Experience or the ability to learn basic keyboard operation; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Mathematical Proficiency: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, including measurement and dimensioning.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to meet the physical demands, including standing at a workstation, occasional sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and climbing ladders.
  • Attention to Detail: Specific vision abilities required for adjusting focus and viewing small component parts.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts for valid conclusions.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Capable of performing cleaning tasks and maintaining an organized work area.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree preferred. Preferred minimum of two years experience in the assembly, trouble-shooting, repair and quality inspection of electromechanical equipment.
